May 23 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
$65This is a 4-part workshop with sessions on:
- May 16, 10 AM – 12 PM
- May 19, 10 AM – 12 PM

- May 26, 10 AM – 12 PM
For Harvard researchers affiliated with Harvard Medical School labs on the Quad, or the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center
This in person workshop will introduce participants to statistical methods and considerations utilized to perform differential gene expression (DGE) analysis with DESeq2 on bulk RNA-seq data.
Participants will learn how to:
• Evaluate PCA & correlation heatmaps for QC
• Incorporate theory of DGE analysis steps into hands-on workflow
• Visually explore DGE results with expression heatmaps & volcano plots
• Perform functional analysis of the DGE results
The Introduction to R workshop is a pre-requisite!
