Project Description

CCB built a relational database to catalog and track ~5000 of Dr. Heiman’s C. elegans transgenic or mutant strains that is easy to navigate and searchable. This project included first designing a data model then building the database and providing example queries. There were 2 main objectives for this project: Develop a database and provide example queries to optimize searchability.

Deliverables

CCB created a local relational database with a workflow that allows direct transfer of the data to Dr. Heiman’s lab website hosted by SiteGround.
