This beginner workshop is an introduction to the inference and analysis of gene regulatory networks (GRN) using the network zoo (https://netzoo.github.io), a menagerie of network biology methods.

Participants will learn:

  • How various GRN workflows can be used with transcriptomic, genomic, methylomic, and other data to gain additional biological insights.
  • How to navigate the NetZoo family of approaches for inferring GRNs and context-specific GRNs using interactive, point-and-click tutorials.

Tutorials will be hosted on the cloud and available to run on a local computer without installing any software or writing any code. The instructors for this workshop are Ava Wilson and Tara Eicher from the Quackenbush Lab at HSPH.

This workshop assumes basic familiarity with genomics; familiarity with R is useful but not required.

This hybrid workshop will be held on Monday, May 13, 2024, from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM EST in Countway L1-024.
