After studying Math and Economics at Williams College, Roger wanted to shift toward tackling more medically-relevant research questions. He recently completed his PhD in Systems Biology at Harvard in the Farhat Lab where he studied comparative genomics of Mycobacterium tuberculosis focusing on Mtb evolution in-host and signals of convergent evolution in Mtb globally. Roger continues to work on Tuberculosis – his interests lie in the use of ‘omic data to accelerate biomedical & translational research.
