Biography

As one of CCB’s project managers, Genoa Polumbo organizes, tracks, and coordinates computational, data science, and machine learning projects that serve the Harvard Medical School community. Prior to joining CCB in March 2022, Genoa worked at Harvard Catalyst, helping teams develop software tools for medical research collaboration. In support of the user community, she refined team process, wrote user manuals, led trainings, and managed helpdesk inquiries. Before moving to Boston, Genoa worked at the intersection of education and tourism and has always sought to organize groups of people. She values the mission-driven work of HMS and CCB and is proud to support important scientific discovery.
